La  Provincia autonoma di Trento ha istituito il Servizio per la Promozione delle minoranze linguistiche locali per ribadire una precisa volontà politica: quando sono coinvolte comunità minoritarie, i problemi devono essere affrontati non solo con un’attenzione maggiore, ma anche con una sensibilità che non dimentichi le specificità e le differenze che queste popolazioni esprimono. Operativo dal 2002, il Servizio è una struttura agile, ma con un'organizzazione definita, caratterizzata dal fatto che svolge un’attività “trasversale” ai diversi ambiti e settori.
Il suo compito è quello di raccordare gli interventi che la Provincia promuove a favore delle minoranze nei diversi campi in cui opera, da quello scolastico, a quello culturale, a quello economico: il Servizio coordina e dà impulso all'attività delle competenti strutture interessate, relativamente all'attuazione dei principi e delle norme riguardanti la salvaguardia e la promozione delle minoranze linguistiche locali; assicura assistenza e consulenza agli enti locali in merito all'attuazione delle norme in materia di salvaguardia e promozione delle minoranze linguistiche locali; si occupa della raccolta sistematica degli atti normativi comunitari, statali, regionali e provinciali, nonché le pronunce giurisprudenziali e i contributi dottrinari inerenti la materia della salvaguardia e promozione delle minoranze linguistiche e provvede alla loro traduzione in lingua ladina e tedesca; raccoglie le istanze e le segnalazioni provenienti dalle comunità minoritarie per quanto riguarda le problematiche relative alla loro salvaguardia e valorizzazione e si attiva per la risoluzione delle stesse; cura inoltre i rapporti con gli uffici della Regione Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, della Provincia autonoma di Bolzano e di altre regioni ove risiedono minoranze linguistiche ladine e germanofone, e con le istituzioni internazionali che si interessano della salvaguardia delle minoranze linguistiche storiche o regionali.

Die autonome Provinz Trient richtete 2002 die Abteilung für die Unterstützung der lokalen sprachlichen Minderheiten ein und brachte damit einen konkreten politischen Willen zum Ausdruck: Wenn es um Minderheiten geht, müssen die Probleme nicht nur mit besonderer Aufmerksamkeit angegangen werden, sondern auch mit der notwendigen Sensibilität, ohne die Besonderheiten und die Verschiedenheiten dieser Völker zu vergessen. Die Abteilung hat eine schlanke Struktur, ist aber gut organisiert und darauf ausgerichtet, transversal, also in verschiedenen Bereichen und Sektoren tätig zu sein.
Bei ihr laufen die Fäden der Maßnahmen zusammen, welche die Provinz zugunsten der Minderheiten in den verschiedenen Bereichen fördert, vom Schulwesen über die Kultur bis zur Wirtschaft. Die Abteilung koordiniert die zuständigen Einrichtungen und hält sie dazu an, bei ihren Tätigkeiten die Grundsätze und Bestimmungen zum Schutz und zur Unterstützung der lokalen sprachlichen Minderheiten umzusetzen. Sie unterstützt und berät die Lokalkörperschaften bei der Durchführung der Bestimmungen zum Schutz und zur Unterstützung der lokalen sprachlichen Minderheiten, sie sammelt systematisch einschlägige Gesetze auf Ebene der EU, des Staates, der Regionen und Provinzen, sowie Gerichtsurteile und rechtliche Abhandlungen über den Schutz und die Unterstützung der lokalensprachlichen Minderheiten und lässt diese ins Ladinische und ins Deutsche übersetzen. Sie sammelt Anträge und Meldungen, die von den Minderheitsgemeinschaften bezogen auf Probleme im Zusammenhang mit ihrer Bewahrung und Aufwertung eingehen, und setzt sich für deren Lösung ein. Darüber hinaus pflegt sie die Beziehungen zu den Ämtern der Region Trentino-Südtirol, der autonomen Provinz Bozen und der anderen Regionen, in denen ladinisch- und deutschsprachige Minderheiten ansässig sind, sowie zu den internationalen Einrichtungen, die sich für den Schutz alteingesessener oder regionaler sprachlicher Minderheiteneinsetzen.



PRESENTATION
The Autonomous Province of Trento set up the Department for the Promotion of Local Linguistic Minorities in order to underline a specific political intent: when minority communities are involved, the issues must be dealt with not only with greater attention, but also with a sensitivity bearing in mind the specific characteristics and differences of these populations. Operational since 2002, the Department is a flexible organisation with a well-defined structure, carrying out activities cutting across different fields and sectors.
Its task is to coordinate the intervention that the Province promotes in favour of minorities in various fields, from schools and cultural initiatives to activities in the economic sector. The Department coordinates and acts as a driving force for the activities of the relevant bodies involved in the implementation of the principles and regulations linked to the safeguarding and promotion of local linguistic minorities; it provides support and consultancy to local authorities regarding the implementation of regulations to safeguard and promote local linguistic minorities; it deals with the systematic collection of European Community, state, regional and provincial regulatory provisions, as well as court rulings and theoretical contributions concerning the safeguarding and promotion of linguistic minorities, and sees to their translation into Ladin and German; it collects requests and reports from minority communities concerning problems related to their safeguarding and promotion and takes action to resolve these issues; it also maintains relations with offices in the Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol Region, the Autonomous Province of Bolzano and other regions where Ladin and German-speaking linguistic minorities reside, and with international institutions concerned with safeguarding historic or regional linguistic minorities.
